Maybe a little inconspicuous from the outside, but please don't let that put you off! If you like Asian cuisine and also like a little variety, you should give the YAU a chance. My favorite is the Malaysia curry, preferably with vegetables. But all the other dishes we tested were also very tasty. In addition, the owners are really friendly and courteous - therefore 5 ⭐️.
MoreVery tasty and inexpensive
Very tasty and authentic food ?
You should definitely take a look, very nice operators, the boss cooks himself and it tastes very good. I'm not a big fan of Asian cuisine, but I'm always surprised. I can only recommend it, try it out and judge it for yourself.
MoreSuper tasty dishes prepared with love. Always happy to come back.
It is consistently fine and we had a great evening there. The service is extremely lovely and extremely obliging every time. That makes me and my husband happy every time they visit. Inexpensive, varied selection of dishes and drinks. My lady of the heart and I were really delighted to have discovered an inn in our area, which we can still afford without restriction at the end of the month. We find the inn to be contemporary for all kinds of events, whether with colleagues or friends or clan; ).
MoreSimply delicious ?
A carelessly vain misjudgment as an aging "traveler" (haha?) must have been the reason why I formulated sentence blocks like "my food" and "like to be really spicy" in one sentence towards a South Asian?♂️. The likeable lady still mean "So Asian?" and when I nodded proudly, she disappeared into the kitchen. Then my Laksa was served. Looked great. I let the shrimp on top cool down for better peelability and started rolling up noodles on a German-Italian fork with spoon. Delicious. And yes, spicy, as ordered, only that with the technique the sauce usually stays in the plate. So afterwards. Another spoon. Poh ? Krass. They are serious???. The cook looked at me with a smile. "Everything OK?" - "All chuper!" ? I breathed with a warped smile, "achiadich chaaf". Before the fine motor skills would fail I started peeling the shrimp as a precaution. Just about went. ? There were increasing difficulties with spoons and forks. In which hand do you take the parts again? Both felt wrong. When I gave up rolls of pasta, I began to cut them and scoop them onto the spoon. The many red spots must be chillies ? Huh. Snot ran down my nose, salty on my lips, my forehead was soaking wet, my hair stuck to my skull. Blow your nose at the Asian? That was extremely rude, wasn't it? Also in Malaysia ??? Sniff, sniff. Clear of throat. Tears in the eyes. No matter. Töööröööö .... No beeping yet. Is still possible. The colors in the room became more intense and began to pulsate as I pushed the last spoon into myself. Then had an ice cream for dessert. With banana. ? Joke, was fun ... ? Food was super delicious, I like it hotter what is really difficult to get in D? It was really great to eat a Laksa again, you rarely get it. Really good curry-pampy, not too thin. Super nice service! Gladly again anytime! I will recommend you to my "I like to eat hot" friends! ?????
MoreDelicious! Super nice service! Gladly again! 5 *
good food
Very friendly service and good quality of the food. The various homemade sauces taste particularly good. Highly recommended.
MoreI come here frequently - and I can say I am always satisfied with their services. If you are Malaysian or Indonesian you will feel welcomed by the owners as they try to speak to you in their language - which makes the feeling extremely 'homey'. The dishes have always been good, you can always ask for spiciness direct to them. Perhaps the only downside is its location because it is a bit secluded but nevertheless reachable with some walk. Would love to eat here again someday!
MoreVery tasty, prices very fair. Service very nice, if you want to find something, it could have been a little bit faster but everything else really great!
MoreAuthentic and varied cuisine. Always very tasty and sometimes very exotic. Gladly again and again. ?
MoreVery good and authentic kitchen. Ask for the specialities. All the sauces are homemade. You even can buy them. The Owner loves his job, we can tell. Thats why come back
MoreVery good food with no artificial seasoning. Also lady owns the restaurant was very kind and caring.
MoreReally tasty food!
Great authentic restaurant, very friendly staff and chef. Bought some homemade Sambal, which was fantastic! Highly recommended!!
Moreverry good
Nice Thai restaurant with quite authentic acting, delicious dishes. Friendly, pleasant atmosphere. Good value for money.
MoreEven the ingredients and the preparation was explained to us
Accidentally discovered and really happy about it! The food was very fresh and tasted great! The Malaysian vegetable curry was great and not too spicy, but the Nasi Goreng was excellent.
MoreVery nice food and super friendly staff.
Authentic Malay cuisine and super friendly service! Here the food tastes like in Kuala Lumpur. The influences of Chinese and Indian cuisine are also clear and typically Malay. Not to compare with the "Chinaman around the corner". I will definitely come back and relieve my wanderlust to Malaysia.
MoreCheap taste!
A very nice and pleasant restaurant. The ambience invites you to a cozy, relaxed meal and the selection of dishes was clear and sufficient. The service was very friendly and took the time for us to explain all the unknown dishes and to give recommendations. It took us almost 1 hour to get our food, but it was worth the wait, because you could taste that the food was freshly prepared. One cannot complain about the prices of the dishes for the quality offered and drinks also have moderate prices. My family and I can only recommend the restaurant and will be visiting myself often.
MoreGood service. Lady boss can speak mandarin. Love the char kway teow with the wokfire! Very delicious! Satay was delicious and the satay sauce was expertly crafted with a great taste of lemongrass. I like the sauce here more than the one in Malaysia. Nasi lemak is not authentic tasting so I don't recommend it if you have tasted it in Malaysia countless of times before. However, it tasted good in its own rights just that the rice is not lemak.
MoreVery tasty, especially the duck and the dumplings. For me as a non-spicy-eater, the curry sauce was quite spicy, but I would still eat here again.
MoreThis is not authentic Malaysian or Asian cuisine. It's customised for cheap taste and quality. For those who want big portion cheap Germanised Asian food, its the right place.
MoreAs someone who's mom is from Malaysia (and being Chinese-American myself), this place is great! Started with the roti canai and chicken vorspeisen and main dishes of curry and fried noodles were great. The owners are so nice and it's truly family owned and operated. Very inexpensive/great value as well. Four appetizers, three main dishes and the total came out to 38€!
MoreAuthentic malaysia cuisine! Nasi Lemak a must! Roti Prata!
Very tasty Malaysian cuisine. Super friendly staff. An insider tip in Nuremberg.
Great food, served quickly and at good prices. Deserves to do well.
Newly opened malaysian restaurant. Very friendly staff and absolutely delicious food in a nice atmosphere.
MoreDelicious, authentic food from Malaysia, which one rarely finds in this quality in Germany! The owners are very friendly and make every effort to make their guests feel comfortable.
MoreThank you for being with us!
We will call you back!
